On October 10th & 11th, 2009 over 50+ volunteers came out to help paint the KBOO Community Radio mural on 20 SE 8th St. in Portland, Oregon. This project was funded by the KBOO Foundation and the Regional Arts & Culture Council. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this come to life.
This will some day end up on the tail end of a bunch of cars, or across unheard-of landscapes and surfaces across the city of Portland. It might go further and be found in the hole where they put a rocket into the moon. Either way, it’s a fun sticker, and am glad it turned out how it did. Hand drawn illustrations for various logos. These were created for all of the KBOO Community Radio tshirts, posters, flyers, stickers, hats, bags, avatars and everything else in the vast social media society.
This is artwork and pictures I submitted to Regional Arts & Culture Council for mural approval. The full mural was painted by KBOO Community Radio staff, volunteers and other community members on October 10th and 11th, 2009.
