About

1981 and beyond…

I was raised in Indianapolis with lincoln logs, legos, coloring books, sprinklers, backyards, camping, traveling, playgrounds and a whole lot more. It was fun. Life is fun. So is drawing. Problem is, most people don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. Some people want to be crazy things like astronauts or marine biologists. I wanted to draw. So one day I started practicing. I was young, so it was easy to lose hours in a day just sketching on scrap pieces of paper. I would concentrate in school by doodling in between the lines of notes we had to memorize. Then one day came computers and the drawing stopped. I spent years tapping away at keyboards, clicking a mouse, coding websites and designing interfaces. But life changes and one day I woke up to find that I was drawing every day of my life and I couldn’t stop.
