Creative. Illustration. Artist.
The Creative ProcessWhat usually starts happening is I'll stare at a blank piece of paper for a while, until I see lines or creases in the paper, or the impression of a previous drawing. I'll take these and start mapping out a picture in my mind, then I'll pick a spot to start. This is usually dictated to me by the illustration itself, and I may have no control of where it will begin. I go off on many tangents, which lead me to messing up a lot. But in those mistakes I find ways to cover up the cracks and create something that wouldn't have normally been there.
Illustration is a Universal Language
It has always been said that a picture is worth a thousand conversations, or is that words? Images, pictures, illustrations, photos, slideshows, movies, internet, the world itself.. it's all visual. My favorite medium is illustration, because it's not as literal as real day-to-day life or picture-perfect photography. Drawing is my tool for communication. It is the way I interpret life, and it is mostly how I speak it. I could go on and on about this, or I could just let you see the pictures.. know what I mean?
Art and the Revolution
What is the revolution I speak of? (You Ask) I tell you it is of art and mind, and body and spirit, and farting and eating, and waking up and going to sleep, and working, and vacationing, it is life. It is the revolution of realizing your'e alive, and that we need to make the most of it... And all the rest of that liberal, hippie crap.
